Multi-disciplinary Artist Mild (Marie Gordon) leads projects along the themes of connection, play & empowerment. Her work aims to effectively explore and communicate community issues, and our shared climate and biodiversity crises to spur positive action. With an undergrad in illustration and MSc in Climate Change Communication, she has been developing a socially engaged art practice since 2011.

Her most recent creative project was ‘Tern the Tide’, a participative creative climate action project which she led across 2023-2024 was shortlisted for a Business to Art Award in ‘Creative Sustainability’ in 2025 and was funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media in collaboration with the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications, and also by Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail as part of the CIÉ Sustainability fund. This multifaceted creative climate action project engaged with the Kilcoole community, Co.Wicklow to celebrate the work of BirdWatch Ireland at the NPWS Little Tern conservation.
